Painting
As an artist, I believe that the artistic mindset is much deeper than the work created or the work I immerse myself in. I view myself as a piece of artwork that I am constantly working on, developing, painting, and perfecting. I am virtually a canvas more than an artist at times, using the work I create to communicate my perceptions and experiences, bringing the personal to a collective experience. My art is myself and my memories, combining the individual with influences of history, my roots, my world, and society.
